Ingredients : Serves 4 people
Green chillies : 8-10 nos
Coriander powder / dhania powder - 1 tbsp
Cumin powder / jeera powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Turmeric / haldi - 1/4 tsp
Tamarind - small lemon size , soaked in water and pulp extracted
Oil -3-4 tbsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves to garnish
Tempering the oil
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds / jeera : 1/2 tsp
Nigella seeds / kalonji : 1/4 tsp
Fenugreek seeds / methi : 5-6 seeds
Curry leaves : few
To grind ( Wet )
Onion - 2 nos large , diced
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
Garlic - 4-5 flakes
To grind ( Dry )
Groundnuts / peanuts : 1/4 cup
White Sesame Seeds :2 tbsp
Poppy seeds / khus khus - 1
Dry Coconut / kopra : 1/4 cup
Method:
Wash ,pat dry green chillies .Then slit the green chillies vertically without cutting through.Gently remove the veins and seeds of it.
